In my last post, I shared a newly remodeled office space. If you missed it, go check it out! That project was really fun to pull together. I love mixing old and new items together. It creates so much interest in a space.
If you are in need of furniture for your home or office, I have some great choices, old and new, in the store. One example is this beautiful gray nailhead trimmed couch paired with a vintage cart coffee table. But what you may not know is that I can also special order furniture. If you need a chair in a certain color, or a bookcase that is a specific height, I can find that for you. Custom order lighting is also one of our specialties, with many lamp and chandelier options to choose from.
You don't have to go knocking down walls to give a space an entirely new look. I want to show you some before and after pictures of a client's sunroom. He wanted a nice place to sit and enjoy the nature right outside of his window. Here are the before pictures.
The room has some great natural light with four large windows. But the furniture was not incredibly comfortable, and the accessories were a bit dated. The client wanted a more modern feel, with clean lines and soft neutral colors.
There was no need for construction in this space. We picked a new wall color, and then went straight to furnishing the room. On to the reveal!
The short plaid curtain was replaced by a custom cornice. The upholstered window treatment helps soften the large window edges without obstructing the view. New tables hold accessories and lamps, making it a great reading spot.
Tile floors are beautiful, but they can be a bit cold. A new rug makes the space cozy. These chairs and ottoman bring in the clean, modern feel the client was looking for while still being comfortable for lounging. The limited color palette has a soothing effect. The client now enjoys relaxing, but also entertaining, in this new space.
